OK guys. So, you know that big pile of dishes that was in the sink and how it's all gone now? Yeah, that was Rayna. She did all our disgusting dishes for us. Why? Because she's fucking amazing. So, thank you luv.

We really shouldn't let this keep happening. She ends up doing all the dishes way more than she should. Because we all get lazy. And I certainly include myself in that collective we. I guess I'm just asking if we could all just be a bit more responsible about our dishes, especially when we have people over. We need to either make sure our guests take care of their dishes or that we do. It takes 2 seconds and I think we'll all be a lot happier.

But other than that, let me just take this opportunity to say how much I love living with all you guys. No matter how shitty a day I might have had, coming back here always makes me feel better. You guys are the best.

If you cooked a whole meal, I understand not wanting to wash the pan right away, especially if you have to run off to a class. But if you use a single glass?? Just wash it... that LITERALLY takes two seconds.

..and I agree with Sara. I'm SO glad I'm living with all of you!! (even though I don't hang out with you guys enough.)

thanks love!

yeah, i agree on the actually doing your dishes (including your guests'!) thing, because i get fed up with dishes i think a lot sooner than other people might, probably because i cook for all my meals (well, lately it's just been popcorn... but you know...) and so often have a bunch of my own dishes to do (plus, it's SO much easier to bake and clean my bowls on wednesday when there isn't a pile of dishes in there taking up space).

i think there should be like, a 24 hour rule or something. i dont expect you to do them all right away, but i mean... a week? a lot of those dishes were left from nora's birthday. and some maybe even from before (!)

on another note, im often cleaning the general kitchen/common room. im not blaming anyone, because i make just as much a mess as anyone else, and the dirt on the floor can't really be helped because we don't have a carpet... but again, it seems like when we've got friends over things just get left out, lost, forgotten, or whatever... and it would be nice to have a clean common space more often.

im sure we all feel like we're doing a lot-- but things are easily forgotten because we're all wicked busy. im sure having a clean house is the last thing on people's minds, but i think because we're all sharing a space it's not unreasonable to expect it to be kept to some degree of cleanliness... aka, not as gross as it has been getting.

love you all!
